Timberwolves costing us that 6th spot. . .

Clippers lose to the Grizzlies. We have a four game lead over the second place Clippers, but as @Handlogten's Heros points out, this is really a 5 game lead because we have the tie breaker. We’re 4.5 games up on the Lakers. Splitting the remaining games gives us the tie breaker.

Easiest remaining schedule, supposedly.

Came here to say something similar... gotta keep the momentum but there is some room for error.

When will we have enough cushion so that we can get Oni some more minutes? We need to be able to plug him into certain playoff matchups with confidence. I’m thinking of PHX and LAC in particular.
I have always liked what I have seen out of Morgan anytime he has received minutes too.

I'm a Turkish dude living in Istanbul. Utah has more fans overseas than you'd think, I recruited some too. I had posted why I've become a jazzfan.
Anyway people at work know I'm a Utah Jazz fan, they even address me as "Mr. Utah" at times (One guy called me Mormon too)
We have mostly Lakers, Mavs, Bulls fans around here. Utah beats their teams on a regular basis and they look like going through the same painful experience when I'm near them. It's all fun of course. A respectful yet bitter nod during a meeting, "Here, you deserve the best coffee after what you have done to us this morning", or simply "Ooooo here he comes..." chants. I'm so cool.

8 of the next 9 are on the road, many of which are against solid teams. I’m curious how we do after the whole DL thing.
This will really be a telling stretch. The possibility of just folding outright is there. I hope we come out at 7-2 at the worst, but even 6-3 would be respectable. However 9-0 would not shock me.

Folding? Like collapsing?

I mean, I really doubt it. But I guess anything is possible. At the worst, I want to go 5-4. I mean, listen, they’re road games. The Celts will be desperate and the Heat are fairly hot. The Sixers are flawed but really good at home typically. And **** happens. I think if we go 7-2 or better, we go to game 6 of the WCF at worst. Worse than that isn’t concerning unless we go 4-5 or worse. Then my eyebrows are raised and I’m starting to worry a little about seeding.

Also, I really really do not want to play the Dubs in the first round. I’m worried about the two LA teams and the Dubs. That’s it.

The last time that I was this excited about the Jazz was the 1996-1997 season. I feel that we are destined to win the chip. I've been waiting my whole life for this. I remember thinking we had a chance in 92, 93, 94, 95, and of course 96, but this year is something special!

The Dubs really, really suck this year in comparison to where they have been though. I'd welcome that matchup.
