The Internet pays crap. I used to get much more for inch pay as a stringer in the old days. And was getting up to $.50 a word for magazine articles. It's all about promoting yourself and learning how to use SEO, hashtags, and getting your name out there. A lot of people use podcasts to do that, and of course developing email lists to build a following. Anyone here who is savvy about this, I'd like to hear their take on it. Actually, Jazzfanz should start a podcast. It would be fun and maybe generate revenue that could subsidize purchasing tickets to games and other Jazz accessories. I floated the idea a while back but there wasn't much if any interest. I'm sure a lot of posters here would like to be part of it. I did a podcast, just audio, in 2012, and I'm sure there are others with perhaps more experience than me.
