Via Hoopshype: "Free-agent swingman Josh Howard has shown interest in playing for the Warriors, according to team sources. The 6-foot-7, 210 -pound 32-year-old and Warriors scouting director Larry Riley were together in Dallas (2003-06). San Francisco Chronicle"

This was posted here yesterday and I joked that we trade him for their 30 or 35 .. then realized that may actually work.

Hmm...I do not see it but my apologies.

Im with you, if he is leaving try and get something

I burried it in the 2012 draft pick thread yesterday with a couple of other pre-draft rumours.

Sadly, he is a FA, so Jazz can't trade him. I was very dissappointed when the trade deadline came & went and Howard wasn't moved for some kind of assett. I thought it was a mistake on KOC's part, but Howard was fighting injuries so maybe KOC couldn't find an interested party.

Also, fwiw--It sounds like Howard was not really asked about going to GS, they just assumed he would want to and started 'reporting' it. GS media is floating names like crazy. Following the rumours and twitters and crap...it seems to me that since the GS team & organiztion sucks, and has sucked for many years that the fans, or atleast the media followers get their kicks from the NBA drama rather than the actual games.

It's funny how often Jazz fans repeat this, in spite of the fact that their current ownership has been in place for less than 2 years. I suppose Jazz fans would think GS management would be doing a good job if they had held on to Ellis, missed the playoffs by a few games, and lost their pick to us. Sure, great for Jazz fans, but it would have been pure stupidity on their part. Trading for Bogut and holding on to their pick was a great move by them, compared to sticking with a squad that was never going to be more than 7th or 8th seed at best. Their management got the best of us this year, like it or not. NBA fans should realize that what GS management did this year is just part of the game, and protecting your future interests by sacrificing a few wins in the present, is really nothing more than business as usual. The NBA is a dog eat dog business. You can stand around and complain that somebody else didn't play fair, or you can get in there and chew some ***. Nice guys finish last.

Fixed.
