I haven't read the books. Did see the movie when it showed up on Netflix. It was okay.

I've probably mentioned this before, but people who like The Hunger Games should check out Battle Royale. It's basically the same thing, but I liked it better than the Hunger Games movie.

Yeah Battle Royale was 1 of my most favourite Japanese movies of ALL TIME.


I do have mixed feelings about Hunger Game ripping off of Battle Royale. At the end of the day I'm cool with it as it makes the idea more accessible to the mainstream audience.

Haven't seen the movies, probably won't. Are the books worth reading or are they Harry Potter/Twilight type?
