What's new

i bet $10,000 on jazz over win total

I once took out a loan for 10k because I needed a down payment of 10k for my townhouse. Lol

I ended up spinning that investment 50k.

My impression, and I'm not a spots betting kind of guy, but it's that I think it's generally better to bet the under on win totals when you think they've got a team too high.

The amount of games a team "should" win can go down the toilet the second there are significant injuries or any other number of things. Much easier for a team to underperform than over perform imho.

And the reason I don't bet on sports is because I'm too much of a homer. There's no way I could prevent that from having a disastrous impact on my choices.

At this point I’m guessing we finish with 52 wins and many on the board consider it “a success” as it’s a two game improvement over last year.

I wouldn’t be one of those people.

I pretty much susbsribe to this, specifically in the NFL. I bet the U on teams with poor to mediocre qb’s, specifically if they’re being hyped a bit or are a historically bad franchise.

The Browns, the Bucs. They met said criteria this year.

Don't bet on it, that would be a loss. The Jazz are 24th on offense and 11th defense, more in line with a 35 win team. There are serious, deep rooted problems with this team.
