A new thread, **** you.
Driving home from the game and am just so mad at Harris and even more so at Ty for taking out the heart and soul of the team to put in pile of **** Harris.

I just love earls toughness, leadership and heart. * Ronnie's heart but just with skill and leadership to go along with it. *He is a huge asset and needs to be finishing games. *

He is coaching and encouraging the team at every timeout. *Nobody else on the team does that. *

Favors should of gone after dirk instead of Earl having to. *Even coach Johnson said favors should of got into dirks face over it.*

Harris is ****ing garbage and needs to be traded yesterday

This game was Harris' worst nightmare. Earl showing the fire by going after Dirk and not backing down and then Harris with wide left shot that was one of the worst misses in a clutch situation I've ever seen. Harris has had a lot of airballs from three lately and I really wonder if the guy can see okay because he doesn't seem to be missing normally. Maybe he needs some new contacts. Or a seat on the bench.

Earl is great competitor and I sure hope he will get into coaching after finishing his career. He is smart and will make a great coach. Harris sucked today and I think playing his former team did not help either.

To me Harris has looked distracted since the first game. I don't know if the guy is injured, if he is having some family stress or if he just doesn't care anymore. I hope he can grow just the littlest of hearts because this team would be awesome.

I was a big harris supporter last year and the start of this year. I think he has a lot of talent but he just doesnt fit at all in this system. He is constantly arguing with the other players and coaches because he is confused about what should be happening. He needs to be shipped out of town now.

Watson is the heart and soul of this team right now and HAS to be finishing games from here on out. If all our guys played with his heart, and toughness we would be incredible.

So this is what it feels like to fall off a bandwagon....

Unfortunately, if Watson is really the Jazz's best point guard, than the Jazz are in trouble. Watson is canny, and aggressive, but he isn't good enough to carry the team on his back. If Harris doesn't figure things out, the Jazz really need to get a new starting point, probably in the draft with the Golden State pick if they get it. Or a trade, but a trade is problematic unless they take Harris, which doesn't seem likely at this point.

I've said in previous posts that this team doesn't need a dominant point guard, but they do need one that doesn't hurt them, and Harris hurt them tonight.

Earl may not be good enough to be the lead point on a championship team, but it depends on the team. I think he's every bit as good as Avery Johnson was.

"Watson was called for a technical foul. “I saw him smack the ball out of Favors’ hands,” he said, “so I did the same thing. But I guess, it’s the second one that counts. Maybe next time I’ll be first.” " -SLT
- How can you not love Earl??

Stop texting and driving.

I was doing it stuck in traffic in front of the gateway. Not while I was moving. But ya, I know.

Back to how great Watson is. I wish they would show our timeouts on TV for you guys. He is up coaching and using the white board during a lot of the timeouts. Which Deron use to do but Deron would yell, give the players dirty looks then walk away. Earl yells, then fives, or hugs every single player. Also if you notice when we were on our runs last night whenever there was a break in the game like for FTs he would go to every jazz player on the court and tell them good job. If we were playing bad he would go encourage each player. His heart and toughness can not be talked about enough.

Just teasing man lol. it's all good. Loved Earls fight! LOVED IT!

I'm just surprised in his drop in production. I know he isn't a good point guard for what we are trying to do, but he is averaging 8 and 4. He doesnt appear to be out of shape, his hearts just not in it for whatever reason.

I can't say I hate Harris. I'm just not convinced he's the right fit here. He seemed to be getting better there for a while but he's dropped off again. He's not practicing today due to stomach flu. If he didn't feel well last night that may have been a factor, but certainly not an excuse.

But man, I LOVE Earl Watson. He gets the ball where it needs to be, but most of all he's got fight & toughness. I loved how he stood up to Dirty Dirk last night (who should have received his 2nd technical, BTW). Earl would make an excellent team captain.

If the Jazz can get a trade exception and a second-round pick, then I'd let him go. The team is better with Watson... that has been clear for weeks now.

I'd like them to start
Watson/Hayward/Evans/Millsap/Jefferson

Tinsley will get some time, but obviously the Jazz would be looking to pick up a PG as soon as possible under this scenario.

Wow, wouldn't it be amazing if Earl were to become the starting point guard. I never thought it was even possible, but right now it seems like it's the right thing to do. Of course that would mean that Haris's nineish million dollar contract would look pretty bad, but remember, that was the concession the Jazz made, not the focus of the trade.

we don't know if it was a "concession" or if he was a desired piece. Right now, this isn't working out.

Wouldn't it have been something if we had landed Morrow instead of Harris.... shiiiiz

Start Earl the next game and see if that will light a fire under Devin's ***. If it doesn't, trade Devin for whatever you can get out of him! And I was a huge supporter of him coming to the team last year, but my view on him has changed drasticlly.
