What's new

I love Joe Johnson.

This guy can make a grown man cry. Almost did when he said he loves being a part of this team. You can tell he loves it here. Such a shame he wasn't with us MUCH sooner. I hope he retires here and we put his number up in the rafters.

Ok I'll admit, my eyes watered up when he said it.

This.

Joe Johnson is a living breathing example of how a post-up game can extend your career if you have the body for it. That and being a dead-eye shooter.

This is a great picture from reddit LOL.

I think I mentioned this in the gamethread for our last regular season game against the Clippers.

Joe Johnson has played 46% more regular season games than Chris Paul, and 46% more playoff games than Chris Paul.

Enough can't be said about the impact his play, leadership, & versatility has had on this team. Gobert & Hayward may be the main cogs, but Johnson (along with Ingles) is the glue that holds it all together

There was a play earlier this season where zach Randolph was unable to back down joe johnson.

I remember last year people on here were saying veteran leadership means nothing. Well, Joe Jeezy says otherwise!

How is it that nobody has ever made a "Tale of Two Joes" highlight video of Iso Joe Jesus and Jingling Joe Ingles?

If I had either time or skill I'd do it myself, but I don't have either. Surely someone can save us. I think such a highlight tape would be epic with the Heavy song "How You Like Me Now?" as the soundtrack.

I was so happy when we signed Joe. I knew he would help big time during big games. The guy just knows how to ball. Some never believed in him saying he was too old. I never doubted. The guy is just basketball smart. And knows how to win.

The thing is at the end of last year he was reportedly choosing between Heat, Jazz or Clippers.

- Heat aren't in the playoffs.

- We seem to have the edge on the Clippers now with Blake out.

So it seems to me he chose the right team!!!
