Wow! I don’t know about every single state and law but the threshold for losing complete custody of your kids as a woman is generally very high. Unless she just didn’t want them or something but that seems strange for someone that appears to treat criminals as if they are her children. Man the sheer amount of rampant mental disorders in this country is wild.

Just to clarify what I said here.
I think the ICE officer will be found not guilty (if charged at all), but I am less sure than I was when I posted the above post. She made a major mistake driving even tangentially in the direction of police officers that were trying to detain her. I think she was playing stupid games and was caught up in the moment and gained courage from the crowd protesting the officers.
The officer made two major mistakes that I didn't fully appreciate when I first posted.
On his second shot he fired directly into her window, at her head, when he was perpendicular to the direction of travel of her vehicle. At that time there was no one at danger in her direction of travel. She was not gunning it, she was driving relatively responsibly, all things considered. This is major, but the less major issue.
On his third and final shot she had cleared all pedestrians without causing injury and had a clear path of travel. He fired at the back of her car. This shot was completely unjustified. Not only that but it was extremely dangerous. He showed no regard for anyone in the vicinity. This was a bad shot, no question about it.

Some random woman??? How dare you slander this Democrat hero of criminal illegal immigrants in such a way! This dead beat mom put her life on the line for Somali criminal fraudsters that won’t so much as show up to her vigil. This mentally deranged “random woman” sacrificed her life so that criminals can rightfully defraud tax paying Americans!

Babbit was part of a mob who had been attacking police officers for hours. She was literally trying her hardest to get at the policeman who shot her and was in a building she wasn't supposed to be in at the time. The officer was severely outnumbered in a small space with little to no opportunity to get escape the danger.
The driver of the car was trying to get away from the confrontation. She was on her street. The driver was the one outnumbered. There was plenty of space for the ICE agent to escape the danger. If she isn't shot she drives away and no violence occurs.
Babbit was trying to go towards the confrontation. If she isn't shot then violence will occur.

Here’s that new video. Does nothing to change my mind that there was no justification for the shots fired while the ICE agent was aside her driver window, aiming at her head. But, for some, this is clincher that proves she was trying to kill him:

Most copies of the agent’s cell phone video cut out the very last seconds of the video. I don’t know which agent muttered these words, after she was shot, but she was friendly toward her killer. These last words show how cheap human life is to these agents, saying “f***king b**tch” after murdering her, for what, a love tap to his hip? And you can clearly see she’s cocking the steering wheel hard right to avoid hitting the agent or anyone else.

It is captured from the perspective of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent Jonathan Ross, who fired three shots into Good’s car, though it’s unclear who said “f***king b**tch” per The Daily Beast. In the video, Good, who was in the car with her dog, is approached by an ICE agent who records her license plate. She says, “That’s fine, dude. I’m not mad at you.” Her wife, Becca Good, who was also present and filming at the scene, asks for the officer to show his face and says, “We don’t change our plates every morning, just so you know. It’ll be the same plate when you come talk to us later. That’s fine. U.S. citizen… You want to come at us?”
Shortly after, ICE agents began shouting at Good to “get out of the f***king car.” Becca is heard telling Renee, “Drive, baby, drive.” The agent tries to open her locked car door before Renee attempts to drive off. Three gunshots are heard, Renee’s car crashes into another, and someone can be heard saying, “F***king b**tch” before the video cuts off.

Without a doubt in my mind, had you been in the ICE agent’s place, you would have murdered her, and you would have been gleeful about it. How dare she mock me with a smile would have been your response. (Some are speculating that IS the reason he shot, did not like being mocked by women). You’re a miserable excuse of a human being. He posted an image of her smiling face. Somehow, according to his tweet, she deserved to die. According to @PJF, what was her crime, besides attempted murder of an ICE agent?

There's one plausible scenario where I would stand in front of a vehicle, or anywhere close, with a gun in my hand. One.
