ICE Shooting in Minnesota

I try to withhold judgement in police shootings since it’s impossible to see all relevant information, but one thing that always sticks out is the actions of the other officers involved. I haven’t seen any comments on it in this situation and find multiple things seem relevant.

From the dash cam video, notice how nonchalant the single officer handling masked lady was. He’s casually supervising while others are beating the hell out of Pretti.

Then the shooting. Every video I recall of a police shooting with multiple officers present, every officer draws after the first officer draws and shoots. Most often they shoot as well. Not a single additional officer drew on Pretti. Gun grabber gun pranced off hunching his shoulders. The rest moved back just like the shooter and watched as he kept unloading. That’s telling to me.

Most Americans want illegal immigrants out of the country. If it was not for the significant failures of the Biden crime family administration and the open border sleep Joe instituted to try and buy votes for ****** democrat policies we wouldn't be in this mess. I love seeing videos of retard democrats wanting to leave America due to its "racism" and realizing they cant just go to some other country because every other country has immigration laws and restrictions. No other country would want these democrat retards either.

I already agreed that what the guy did was ill advised. But that is the end of the comparison.

Hence my fictitious comparison. Wearing the jersey of the wrong team to a sporting event is ill advised (lots of drunk testosterone filled passionate people that may want to fight you). So is raping the Rocks kids and definitely more ill advised.

Filming ICE while armed is ill advised.
Going to a place with lots of violence and anger with an AR15 with the intent to do some shootin is definitely more ill advised.

Its a poor comparison.
You, Log and Red all read more into my comment than was intended. That’s my fault. I was simply ranting about the inconsistency of many comments (not here), not arguing the nuances of both situations. My complaint wasn’t even orthogonal to this situation really.

Just a reminder, illegal immigrants cant vote. They dont even want to if they could. Use logic. You are here illegally. Why take unnecessary additional risk of voting? You would do as little as possible that could leave a trail back to you. You would fly under the radar as much as possible. And again, they cant vote.

Full Anderson Cooper interview of the woman who filmed Alex Pretti’s death:

“I watched him die”. Short segment of interview:

A patient at the VA hospital in Minneapolis:

Mac Randolph, the son of the veteran over whose body Alex Pretti spoke, speaks out. Pretti died exactly one year to the day of that service.

Alex Pretti's name is now known around the world. One reason is a viral video that shows Pretti standing over the body of a veteran who died and honoring his service.

Terry Randolph was a proud Airman.

"He was stationed in a Libya Air Force Base, he was in aeronautical communications," his son, Mac Randolph, said.

Communicating would become his career; he opened a public relations business. In the '80s, he hosted a gigantic welcome home for hostages during the missile crisis.

As Mac Randolph says, his dad was always "telling the right stories, being on the right side of history."

After seven decades of telling stories, they got news: his time was short. It was lung cancer.

"He didn't want to continue the route of treatment; he wanted to do hospice. This is when Alex really became someone my family really leaned on and answered a lot of questions during a really difficult time," Mac Randolph said.

It was Pretti, a 37-year-old man with a smile, who answered the hardest questions his father would ever have to ask.

"I would say he definitely made a sense of calm," Mac Randolph said.

A sense of calm he brought in the moments after Terry Randolph died as Pretti stood above his body and read one last tribute, thanking him for his service.

Pretti laid a plaque by Terry Randolph's body, saying, "Freedom isn't free. In this solemn hour, we grant our honor and gratitude."

"Someone so compassionate and just a good man, to think of him being portrayed as a domestic terrorist," Mac Randolph said with tears in his eyes.

In a split-second decision, he posted the video of Pretti over his dad's body as a testament to his character.

"I couldn't remain silent, I had to help in any way I could. I am lucky enough to have a little piece of evidence to shine a light on him and I hope people see it," Mac Randolph said.

And did they ever; Colbert, Kimmel and network after network shared the video.

Mac Randolph says his dad and Pretti are forever connected.

"He would have wanted to be a part of this, he was a storyteller and this is his last act, and he's on the right side of history again," he said.

Pretti was killed one year to the day after Terry Randolph's celebration of life

A week before he died, Alex Pretti had another encounter, in which an agent broke one of his ribs.

Federal immigration officers have been collecting personal information about protesters and agitators in Minneapolis, sources told CNN – and had documented details about Alex Pretti before he was shot to death on Saturday.

It is unclear how Pretti first came to the attention of federal authorities, but sources told CNN that about a week before his death, he suffered a broken rib when a group of federal officers tackled him while he was protesting their attempt to detain other individuals.

In a statement, the Department of Homeland Security said that “DHS law enforcement has no record of this incident.”

A memo sent earlier this month to agents temporarily assigned to the city asked them to “capture all images, license plates, identifications, and general information on hotels, agitators, protestors, etc., so we can capture it all in one consolidated form,” according to correspondence reviewed by CNN.

Pretti’s previous encounter is another reflection of the aggressive approach federal agents are taking with observers and protesters – a philosophy underscored by the request for agents to collect information about protesters whose activities are broadly protected by the First Amendment.

DHS has repeatedly warned of threats against federal law enforcement officers during immigration enforcement operations—and criticized protesters who they argue are impeding those operations. On Tuesday, the department also publicized an online tip form to share information about people allegedly harassing ICE officers.

“When our law enforcement encounter a violent agitator who is breaking the law, obstructing law enforcement or assaulting them, our law enforcement make records to advance prosecution. This is not ground breaking, it is standard protocol,” said DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin in a statement.

The earlier incident started when he stopped his car after observing ICE agents chasing what he described as a family on foot, and began shouting and blowing his whistle, according to a source who asked not to be named out of fear of retribution.

Pretti later told the source that five agents tackled him and one leaned on his back – an encounter that left him with a broken rib. The agents quickly released him at the scene.

“That day, he thought he was going to die,” said the source.

Pretti was later given medication consistent with treating a broken rib, according to records reviewed by CNN.

His replacement has a weird way of waving at his people too.

It's so weird. Seems like with all the rhetoric about trump administration being nazis they would do everything they can to NOT be like nazis.
Even if they want to be nazis it seems like they would think it's not a winning popular platform (unless maga/Republicans actually ARE more Nazi like than I thought) and would try to hide it.
I think that wave he is doing is likely innocent and isn't meant to be some Nazi dog whistle but it can definitely be taken that way and with the rhetoric you would think he would be extra careful and cautious.
