If Gordon would get tossed for fighting back, who is supposed to respond?

The league has made it so all Gordon Hayward can do is throw his hands up and walk away (otherwise he'll get fined, suspended, etc and the Jazz need him right now)

So my question is, why the hell didn't Ty Corbin, Jeff Hornacek, Syndey Lowe (I really don't like/know him yet, if he would have responded last night I would love him forever,) jump off the bench and yell at the referees???

Go to 29 seconds in this video and look at Ty Corbin's whiney face. He's not doing one thing to protect his player. I'm extremely disappointed.

So my question is, do you think someone should have responded? If so, who? I mean, would it really be all that bad if Jeff Hornacek got thrown out of the game? In my opinion, it would have sent a message to the team and it would have been a good thing.

Off course, there is a chance that none of the coaching staff saw it (just like the ref who walks right in front of it...see the video at 38 seconds)

I was disappointed that no one did anything about it. It just shows our team from top to bottom are a bunchof kittens. On another note, west is nothing but a punk. He picked onthe white boy, he would not have done that to another player on the floor because he knows he would have got his crazy *** knocked out.

Someone should have done something. Especially Gordon. You can't let D.West do that.

That's that gangsta mentality D.West has trying to punk the white boy. That's **** pissed me off. I wanna punch West in his face.

I definitely believe in showing having each other's backs. Nothing builds chemistry like, "I will follow you into battle, brothers."

Having said that, taking the high road also showed maturity and a focus that also speaks volumes. Made that little Mav midget look much smaller than he is .. it's he that got punked, imo.

I agree about the coaching staff, though ... man the **** up.

On the replays it shows Big Al has his back turned and Harris is looking the other way when Delonte did that to Hayward. I cannot say if any coaches saw it though.

Gordon does not have to get ejected but he can turn around and mouth off. I am dissapointed that none of the Jazz players gave West a hard foul for that. Don't injur him and dont be overly dirty. A nice hard pick would have been sufficient.

I must admit, when I saw you had posted in this thread, I was sure you're going to give some advice as to how GH should have done some wild move on West. You know, one of your, 'step on their foot, knee'm in the junk, gouge their eyeballs out, and rip out their armpit hair' moves.

Disappointed .. was looking fwd to learning more killer combos.

Hayward isn't a fighter.

Here is a trick for you. If you think you are going to be in a fight keep one hand by your face. "Scratch" your nose, or rub an ear or something. That way if you think it is going to become a fight you can throw out a hammer fist right into their nose and therby crontrol the fight and possibly escape unhamred. YOu hit them just right and their eyes will tear up or they will pass out. Then you can get away or restrain them. That is a trick that bouncers use all the time.

What's important is Gordon played well after that (and before), and the Jazz won. That's how to handle it.

He did seem to handle it well mentally. Same with the Aflallo elbow he got. That is a good sign.

I usually just say, 'would you rather fight or buy me a drink' ... to which they say, 'I'd rather you buy me a drink' .. to which I say, 'done and done.'

West on the other hand, I'd rather just bitch-slap him and take everything he's got ... except anything his skank has 'contaminated.'

It's a great sign.

I liked Harp last night. Boler was going on about this and Harp cut him off and said "okay, we got a game to play here". And that's what Hayward did.

I efffing hate gangsters. That what West is. He is a littte bitch. Hayward definitely should have done something. What's the worse that can happen anyways? There is nothing to be afraid of.

I think West might have said "bitch *** white boy" as he did it. Ewwwwww, that makes me so mad.

What's even more BS is that the league won't do **** about it. If a white guy pulls some racists crap like that there would be a huge uproar.
