No they wouldnt with Kessler/Nurk center rotation. Nurk is 95th percentile in defensive on/off because our defense tanks when he is out. Would not be the case if the other center would be Kessler.

I know nobody can know, but if Walker were healthy, Nurk was playing like he is, and everyone else was playing every game (i.e., we were trying to win), is this a top 6 squad in this loaded West? Or would we still struggle to sniff the play in?

O, so having Walker + motivated squad means almost doubling the wins, from the current 15 to 28? Then after the Jazz sign a couple of vets this summer and their young players have an extra offseason to grow they would certainly add a few more wins next wins, right? Adding just 4 more wins would put the Jazz in the 2nd/3rd place in the West and make it an immediate contender. And I guess, if Cody figures it out we are guaranteed champs next season.

I think we would be around 0.500, so pretty firmly be in the play in this year, but probably in the 9th or 10th place.

this. In addition to our biggest weakness getting a huge boost we likely would be maximizing winning by ramping down a few of the developing players. Pretty easy to see us in that Portland/Clips territory. Likely would be looking to bolster the lineup at the deadline as well.
