If Jazz had won coin toss, who would you have drafted?

#8 pick, who did you want?

Doubt we would have been able to trade with the Evil Empire (Portland), so Lillard is just a pipe dream. At #8, I'm guessing the Jazz would have drafted Marshall. Jazz already have Burks, who I think they're very high on, so Marshall gets the nod over Lamb.

I took Lamb, but in all honesty I think this is the ultimate crap-shoot kind of question.

More than most years, I didn't feel like there were strong options beyond the first couple picks in this draft.

It was a one man draft. The Bobcats started shopping that second pick heavily as soon as they got it. Which made my day of course, screw the tankers and MJ.

i probably would have chosen between marshall and drummond, although admittedly i answer that way because i was looking almost exclusively at points and bigs. it's a mistake to do anything other than BPA when you're drafting that high, so the jazz probably would've been smarter and kept everybody in the mix - maybe rivers.

i will say this though -- i would NOT have traded up for lillard. if he'd been available at 8, i maybe would have CONSIDERED it, but i think there's a real good chance his career winds up resembling banks/telfair and that marshall has a way better NBA career.

Marshall vs Rivers was a tough debate for me. Marshall has size and vision and makes his team better, but I really don't like him as a scoring threat from outside OR inside so defenses can play off him. Rivers is a great athlete, is a scoring threat, and has really learned the game from his dad, but is not yet a true distributor. I lean toward Rivers. The player I really wanted was Barnes, even if it involved a slight trade up.
