Is Ace Bailey the best draft prospect in Utah Jazz history?

Am I the only one who gets uncomfortable with the disconnect between the hype around Ace and what he looks now as a player? Because what I saw was a player with a very limited bag and who is not smart on both offense and defense and who, as a result is often forced to take tough, well-defended shots. Oh, and his passing is also very mediocre.

If that is the best draft prospect in the Jazz history...

With 18 year old kids you see what you want to see. Some fans look at Ace and see nice stroke with great physical gifts, some see a bunch of warts, and some see mix.
Just like every other 18 year old prospect other than the rare exceptions (lebron, Flagg, AD, etc)

He could be scary big and strong and physical

2011 draft was weird cuz 11 - 20 was better than 1 - 10

And 30+ gave us Jimmy Butler, Isaiah Thomas, Bojan Bogdanovic, Chandler Parsons, etc. One of the most distributed drafts I can imagine, while also being a pretty strong draft (6 All-NBA guys, some good role players)

Yeah, just keep Clarkson. Don't think he is tradeable and he's a positive influence.

Logic, honesty and common sense have no place in the hysterical love fest that's revving up right now.

We have zero idea if Ace can even be a productive NBA player, yet he's already being anointed "the man" who'll "get all the shots he wants" on this team. Ridiculous.

I've been following this board for a long time now. There have been so many guys that get hyped on this board who end up as complete busts. Yet somehow every poster has a flawless record with the few wins getting brought up on repeat.

I don't care enough to keep track. I just know that any poster who thinks they are some draft genius is typically just someone with a selective memory.

That’s the great thing about this board tho. I don’t really see anyone claiming to be always right or the best draft analyst ever.
