We own both of their swap rights which means that we first of all need to own a pick to swap with them and secondly that their pick needs to be worse than ours.Sorry for the dumb question I have probably already asked multiple times this season but do we get the cave pick this year? And while we are at it, do we get the t wolves pick this year?

Well thats lameWe own both of their swap rights which means that we first of all need to own a pick to swap with them and secondly that their pick needs to be worse than ours.
It's extremely unlikely that swaps come in to play this year.
The positive side is if we somehow get to use the swap rights it means one of them fell out to the play-in or lower and won the lottery...Well thats lame
Nightmare scenario: We're sitting somewhere like #6 in the lottery and both Cleveland and Minnesota miss the playoffs and jump to top 4 in the lottery. We own both of their swap rights which means that we first of all need to own a pick to swap with them and secondly that their pick needs to be worse than ours.

I mean if those are the only two teams to jump us that isnt the nightmare scenario. We would have #8 and the ability to swap for the best pick.Nightmare scenario: We're sitting somewhere like #6 in the lottery and both Cleveland and Minnesota miss the playoffs and jump to top 4 in the lottery.
True. But what I mean is that we get bumped out of having a pick by one of those teams.I mean if those are the only two teams to jump us that isnt the nightmare scenario. We would have #8 and the ability to swap for the best pick.
But neither team is close to being in danger of missing the PO's, so that isnt a thing to even really think about at this point.
