I don't really see how that follows. He needs to increase his FTr in any role, but you can increase his role regardless. And according to you he is playing the exact role so even if he did increase his FTr he cannot have any other responsibility.
Im not going to argue in a circle with you.

Ace is an offball player. He should be developed as such. Of course he can do more off ball, but that's should be gradual and not forced. As he gets more comfortable in his sets he will grow to be able to do more things out of them.

If you ever envision him playing different, whether that be on or off ball, we should start playing him more like that even if it starts in small doses. That's all I said. You were the one who said his role is exactly what it will be.

Ace's handle will improve and that will allow him and Lauri to eat in different ways. Thus, when it comes to who uses a given possession, it'll be about what the defense is most concerned with trying to take away, and the offense's appropriate counter to that. For example, if Lauri's off-ball gravity is really distorting one side of the court, then a skip pass to Bailey for a 2-to-3 dribble "self-created" possession could be pretty deadly. He'll be able to put a ton of pressure on the rim in these scenarios.

Same goes for AJ when we get him ;P
Yeah Im sure it will. But it probably takes few years. Meanwhile we are still presented with the question of how do we get him involved with optimal volume.

IF (big IF) the Jazz are ever a good team with this core, they won't have to worry about who gets the shots and do they get enough of them.

Why (in part) has Keyonte blossomed this year? Because of Lauri's insane gravity and him being everything the opponents' scout focuses on. Why has Lauri been able to keep up a career-high scoring pace? Because Keyonte is making it impossible to just focus on stopping Lauri.

If both of those are scoring at this pace and this efficiency (maybe even increased), there will be plenty of shots to go around and they should be good shots.

If Lauri, Keyonte and Ace take 50+ shots, there will still be 40+ shots to go around. Especially if the Jazz aren't bot3 again in turnovers and at best league average on O-rebs.

Others will have to give up shots, and the team has to make decisions on who we don't need putting them up.

I am trying to keep an open mind but Collier, Flip and Sensabaugh don’t play winning basketball right now. I would be looking to see if they have value to other teams.
