What's new

Jaren Jackson Jr. traded to the Jazz

This will be a weird experience for me. Every time we’ve made any reasonable-sized in-season trade where we get back someone good (and compared to other in-season trades this is the ceiling of anything we’ve done), I’ve always been super excited to see them on the floor and go out and win. But I absolutely don’t want us to win so I dunno.

As a side note, though I remember the Malone/Hornacek trade, the first in-season trade I got super psyched about was Rony Seikaly. First in-season trade I got bummed about was Thurl Bailey.

i'm surprised, but it looks like we are keeping two of the other three guys too, i just assumed that they would be immediately traded or waived. do we like this? i've heard a little and they might be ok.

Williams is good and Konchar has another year on his contract

Konchar has been good in the past, but he's like the last guy in your rotation type of role player.

I wonder if there was anything the Jazz could have added for them to include Cam Spencer. Probably not.

Spencer is too good on that deal. I do wonder about Jerome though. They have Spencer, Pippen Jr, and now Walt. Seems like they should move off of their 28 year old PG.
