Jaren Jackson Jr. traded to the Jazz

The smoke around Reaves and the Jazz has been very real. Wonder how that factors into all of this - seems like that's no longer an option with JJJ's salary, unless the apologists have figured something out. My sense is that means Kessler is sticking around, since they could extend him and deal with the apron.

I wonder if the Harden-Garland trade indicates to the Ainges that LeBron is on the move this summer back to Cleveland, potentially freeing up salary for Reaves to be retained by the Lakers, and thus they pivoted.

I was a WCJ believer, but he has been really bad. He can barely even dribble against NBA players and at his size that's a real red flag

Not a big Collier guy, but at this point I'd take the bet on Collier
He'll have a good career somewhere imo. Not the same player or position but he'll he a Grayson Allen type career.

I will try to hold back judgement on this trade until more things shake out but as of now you give up 3 firsts plus 2 recent 1sts. Kessler doesn't fit with JJJ so we better not be losing him nothing. Then of course a healthy JJJ negatively impacts our draft pick significantly. This feels like more of a desperation type deal when one was not needed.
