What's new

Jaren Jackson Jr. traded to the Jazz

Where would Boozer/Wilson/AJ fit?

Does Ace go to the Bench? Do you really bring one of them off the bench?
Now I really don't like the idea of AJ on this team. That'd be one of the worst passing teams ever. We need more high IQ guys to fill out the roster.

Wagler with the glow up is going to be huge for us since he’s also now tailor made for this team now.
Fun facts, the last major nba star coming out of Illinois was DWill.

Right now I'm just happy that we stay at No 6 in the draft and take Wagler. Given WAS, IND, NOLA(Hawks), SAC and BKN are pretty much out of reach.

All in all, we really need to hope for the league to keep raising the salary cap over the next 3 seasons.

I think it will happen no matter what. NBA did smoothing to avoid the KD to the Warriors situation with the last contract. The salary cap is supposed to be larger than it is right now and will need to grow to cover that gap.

The last couple of years for that contract, and Lauri's for that matter, are going to be golden.

You can't just take the assets we gave up at face value. Our chance of retaining this year's first reduced significantly with the acquisition of JJJ. So does our chance of bringing back Kess in the summer. If we gave Walker his extension, that'd be well over 150mil spent on our starting front court alone. Then what about the Key's looming extension? What money do we have left to address our deficiency in passing and perimeter defense? This JJJ deal basically capped our ceiling to a top heavy/perennial playin team that couldn't get out of the first round. Worse than that DM/Rudy team.
Are you interviewing for Tremendous Upside’s vacated spot after he moves, because you are looking like the betting favorite right now?
