That already happened with Chris Morris and Greg Foster.
 
So Ainge took over a team with 2 All Stars, 4 old role players and no picks, went for a rebuild and in 3.5 seasons emerged with 2 young All Stars, 4 young and promising role players and multiple picks.

Not bad at all.

Gobert and Mitchell were roughly the same ages when they were traded as Markkanen and Jackson are now. And our promising role players are definitely younger and also not as good as back then. We do have more picks, but Ainge is hardly batting 1.000 on the picks he has made, probably more like .200 or so.

Yeah I think we need to make JJJ a SF. Basically a big man who plays like a guard. Gotta cut those post ups and move him out of the painted area. If he has no physicality or rebounding ability, he has no business being in there.

I've watched most of the Grizzlies games this year, JJJ does a decent job of cleaning the defensive boards but its normally because Landale is boxing out for him.
