Maybe as primary assistants, but Hornacek is saying they haven't even contacted him, which concerns me and I think is the clearest sign that there's a significant departure from a managerial standpoint since LHM said the head coaching job was Hornacek's when it was available.

Are they just going to have Ty and Scotty as coaches tonight?

Coach Ty should bring Gordie Chiesa back as his principal assistant, lots of experience in Utah, but also with other teams around the league. Plus the guy is the best interview.
 
Horny has said multiple times in the past he doesnt want to be a coach, he likes retirement. He just likes being a able consultant and be with his family. I think the only reason he'd come this year is because its only half a year, and could be a good test to see if he likes it.

I would really like to see a modern defensive system put into place. Man, if the Jazz could snag Mike Brown as an assistant that would be amazing. Horny would be great too, at least to teach these hacks how to shoot.
