I think for me it isn't about that in a vacuum as much as it is how much we need NBA-level ball skills on the team right now.

But for the record, I (mostly) endorse the Hendricks pick.

What so we want role players to do?

Defend - check
Rebound - check
Run transition hard - check
Finish dunks - check
Shoot and make open shots - check
Shoot and make open 3s - check

Instead of focusing on what he can’t do, why not focus on what he CAN do?

I'm sorry, sir, this isn't a Montessori school, this is Jazzfanz. Honestly, when we win the championship folks here will complain that we did it in 6 rather than 5 (we just lacked that killer instinct) or that we didn't give a particular player enough burn during the playoffs.

I think they’ve had that for a while already. Some of these college teams have courts with wild imagery on them. Very unpleasant for the viewer and I can imagine for players too.
