What's new

Jazz @ Magic | Wednesday November 10th @ 5:00pm

I think Hayward is playing like a deer caught in headlights. He doesn't seem to be playing with any confidence and seems lost in what he needs to do. If he wants to stay on the court then he needs to start making some shots and hustling some more. The Jazz are going to need more help from their bench as the season goes forward. I would love it if the Jazz could get Petrius from Orlando since he isn't playing there. The Jazz need another shooter and a guy who can play some defense.

I thought AK played pretty well tonight. I know he didn't have big stats but his energy set the tone from the beginning of the game.

Kirilenko is making big plays out there.

Right now I think it's probably a tossup between CJ and Hayward out there. CJ hasn't made a shot it what feels like a week or two. While I guess he's slightly more proven than Hayward.

However, ever so quietly is Kirilenko having huge effects on these games. His clutch 3's, hustle plays, and assists have been huge.

CJ has been very effective out there. You need to stop focusing on buckets and watch the rest of his game. He's been huge in the last two wins.

Good job to Jerry Sloan for his defensive scheme in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Good job Sloan.

You will find, Craig, that IGS is generally disrespectful of Sloan and the Jazz, and rarely has anything positive to say. I oftentimes wonder if he is some troll from clutchfans just here to stir **** up. Oh, and he knows how to coach better than Sloan too.
Too late with your hate.

Just three posts before your reflexive spew, I praised Sloan, which I am happy to do when he does more than motivate; you can hire drill sergeants or cheerleaders for that.

BTW, respect = playing players who have performed on the court, and not playing those who don't. Sloan was respectable in this regard tonight. And lo and behold, just as I have preached all along, players responded--at least AJ did, recognizing that minutes were not guaranteed.

No person in any field is immune from criticism. Unless you live in an oppressive society.

History is replete of tragedies in which people blindly followed leaders.

Oh, and BTW, this is a message board, not a Sloan support group.

Players gonna play and Haters gonna Hate. I think Sloans been doing a pretty good job. But i do want Hayward to get some more PT

Major props to our beloved team over the past 2 nights. I also predicted 0-4 and I was wrong.

but...

If we don't start getting something from our bench, the starters will be burned out by January. We're pushing close to having one of the worst benches in the NBA.

The annoying thing about your criticism is that you manage to ooze a smug superiority that isn't compatible with your status in this world as a basketball nobody.

This whole new persona of yours is easily the most irritating that the board has seen in the last seven years or so.

You are happy with Sloan for now, but as soon as we drop a game, you start spewing out a mess of things you would have done different.

And please, drop the 'sole warrior against a horde of blind ignorance' act.
