Jazz make an offer to Josh Howard

I would rather have Shawne Williams
Good Hell.... You don't know what you want. Who in their right mind would want Shawne Williams over Howard. What has Williams ever done?

If healthy, and if his head is on straight, he can help a team win games. You've gone and lost your mind.

I assume he's been vetted by Jazz brass. I'm glad they'd add a former All-Star for so little. I'm going to miss AK, though. To other points about cutting into younger players time, they need to beat the best players at that position and EARN their spot or ride the pine. If they can't handle the competition in practice, how will they handle the Lakers?

Because we aren't building this team on what players have done. We are building it on what they can and will be able to do in the future.

If character isn't a factor, gimme Williams as a decent role player who can spread the floor on a 2-year contract over a washed-up Howard with bad knees. Don't think Jazz are the right team to take a gamble on either really, but I would take Williams between the 2.

I may be wrong, but seems like I read that J Howard and D Harris are very good friends.
If so can understand Howard wanting to team up with Harris again.
If so Howard might be willing to sign a cheaper deal with Jazz.

Considering the original rumors were that Howard wanted to wait to see where Nene was going to end up, it makes sense that he isn't signing the offer.

Uhh. Apparently he does.

Hit shots at a very impressive clip and gone about his business. Who in their right mind wants a washed up has-been burnout headcase with bad knees?

He hasn't been healthy in two years and his head has never been on straight. You are in no place to pass judgment.

Yeah because that happens so often.
