Mills spent 7 years with Popovich in San Antonio- overlapping Hardy's time on the staff. I am assuming they want him to be the mentor for young guys that we had in Mike Conley. Hopefully he will help Hardy setting the culture like in San Antonio. That makes makes two recent signings of players that were part of a championship team and know what it takes to go that far..

Winning with humility, putting team first, and showing their best face even in losses is what Duncan exhibited on and off the court.
Said Mills: "For me, it was such a privilege to be able to witness that firsthand, and learn from him at the same time."
