Portland was a tough match-up for us in a season opener, down 2 starters. More Favors means less Diaw and while I think Boris will be a huge X factor for us, it needs to come in small doses off the bench. I agree that Utah answered every time it seemed like Portland was about to put them on ice and that was great to see. I really hope Utah can get healthy and stay healthy for once because I think we are in a class above Portland when at full strength.

There were signs of hope in the season opener, but for me it was still a frustrating loss. It will be nice to get out there tomorrow night and bury the Lakers.

It was a great game and they had a guy named Damian Lillard and we didn't. The end.

Next time it will be a great game and we will counter Damian Lillard with our full arsenal. #takenotemudderfckrs

Resilient remains to be seen, but we have started off just as brittle as ever. Sure hope the injuries play less of a role this season.

In LockedonJazz today Locke says that Favors felt good after practice in Portland and is a game time decision tonight.

Hayward is going to try shooting basketballs for the first time since his injury. Hayward is "chomping at the bit", Hayward's family flew to Portland to watch. He talks about maybe the end of the first big road trip as a return for Hayward as an optimistic return. So Monday the 14th v Memphis?

No mention of Burks at all. Seriously?

Tony Jones twitter:

"Derrick Favors went through shootaround this morning. Snyder said he will see how Favors feels pregame before making a decision on tonight"

But the Jody Genessy said this on twitter:

"Derrick Favors is expected to play tonight."

Over all it sounds pretty likely that Favors plays. So 1 of 3 back?

Brittle? I would hump a cactus befor I called this start brittle.

Please do. Shove a big ol' cactus right up that vag of yours and give it a good twist.

the jazz just posted on their instagram that favors is expected to play tonight
