Matthew Dellavadova has a second cousin* who is a tennis player, also called Matthew Dellavadova. When the 16 year old won his opening match at the Australian Open boys' singles, he caused a few double-takes when his press availability was announced over the PA.

One Dellavadova is in the first season of a multi-million dollar contract, the other has career earnings of $744.
