Jazz VS. Warriors

Snyder. Good use of the timeouts. Glad Joe Johnson got to watch the other 9 players actually try.

Jazzta: Which happens too often
Ellipse: It would have been a totally different season if Exum was healthy.
Archie: More middle aged tshirt tossers.
yamers: that okc pick looks solid right now
yamers: lmao
Hekate: lol. Archie trolling for attention even though he called dancers fake af.
Archie: Exum looked so good too.
Archie: And weird.
Witty: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdftbYqA_VQ
Witty: warriors vs the jazz december 27
Archie: Lol witty
Zombie: Welp. My prediction of not sniffing .500 after December looks pretty good rn
Zombie: Totally called it bros
Ron: Cool?
Witty: the league is just running a train on the jazz right now
str8line: This got REALLY ugly.
Jazz4ever: http://www.tankathon.com/ not too far from the 5th pick actually
Archie: David West has played much better this year than last.
Saint: the jazz will start winning a lot of game pretty soon
Archie: Remember when he tore his acl in Utah?
Ellipse: Ok, I'm getting nauseous. I can't take anymore.
str8line: And... let us tank.
Zombie: This roster just can't march up physically with most NBA teams
Hekate: watch your back Ingles
yamers: joe johnson looks so slugish
yamers: goodness
Saint: thats not true zombie, the jazz are just at the end of a rough schedule
Saint: they will look good when they play the regulars of the NBA again
Zombie: I dunno man, I mean I agree Utah isn't as bad as they look this month
MDAV28: I agree with Cy and that's probably a bad thing
Witty: looking forward to the cavs coming and gaping up soon enough
Zombie: But...

Why didn’t we go after nick Young last offseason? He would’ve been a nice pickup even if we had retained Hayward.

Or Casspi? These are gems that often go unnoticed after the big FA names are signed.

Turned it off. It's embarrassing to lose by 50 to the Warrior's bench starring Nick Young and some guy named McCraw.

Ricky's Driving Layup Bonanza in the 3rd was horrible. Mitchell has to be more selfish or we get things like that. I'm ready for some trades. I can't watch this Jazz team play like this for much longer.

And as much patience as we've had over the past 7 years or so... are we ever going to stop rebuilding?

MDAV28: Not that I agree but that the Jazz will be winning
yamers: we rly gotta push for that top 5 pick
str8line: Maybe not. Hard to say though after games like last night.
Hekate: with Gobert and Exum out, we don't really have an advantage physically
Jazz4ever: We play in the west, not that many "regulars"
Zombie: It's hard to argue there's not a pretty big athletic disparity with most of the rest of the league
str8line: At least Favors is looking good. Are we trading him or what?
Archie: Zombie, would you say they look historically bad?
Zombie: Esp with two of our most athletic for their position players out
str8line: Donovan's like, finally!
Ron: Jazz need to get Rudy back and start hood and Mitchell. We will be fine after this rough month. We really need to play defense on the road.
vegas: Jazz need to strike first. Playing to match, then the opponent goes on a run and they play catch up from then on. Confidence is already damaged
vegas: at that point with opponent riding high
Jazzta: The worse Jazz that I ever saw had to be that season with John Lucas
Archie: Oh gawd, John Lucas.
Archie: John Lucas or Jason Hart?
str8line: Lucas is Rubio's spirit animal.
Zombie: The only really athletic guys who are healthy are favors Mitchell and burks
Archie: Lol
Jazzta: John Lucas the turd for sure
Witty: favors is athletic when he doesn't look like a big sweaty boulder
Jazzta: I lost a few years of my life that season
str8line: Yup, he's playin for money.
Saint: i mean, the jazz were striking first tonight
Saint: the wrriors are just better
Zombie: Oh no doubt. I mean there aren't many teams who can't beat the warriors without them playing unusually awful
Zombie: Can^
Jazzta: This season will just pass and go, they key is how to build around DM

I have an 8 millimeter kidney stone passing through me right now. Yesterday I had my wife rush me to the emergency room cause I thought I might be dying. I was given morphine in my IV and still the pain was the worst I ever felt.

Been in pain ever since and the doctor told me that the stone is probably too big to pass so I have to see a urologist tomorrow and see what my options are. This sucks

Go Jazz
Been there done that. Now you know what its like to give birth. Hang in there big guy.

We shouldn’t be relying on a rookie and 400 year old Joe Johnson to provide us with all our offense.

This team is completely and utterly structurally flawed.

As good as DL was at finding DM in the draft he was equally terrible at constructing a team that could score. I get that Hayward procrastinated his decision. But that shouldn’t have stopped us from going after all of these other FA players who could’ve scored.

Nick young should’ve been a no brainer. Casspi would’ve been a huge upgrade over Jerebko

Witty: i get older and the jazz just stick around mediocrity
Witty: i dont know about any of you fogies but this stuff sucks
str8line: GS could have a 80 point half.
Zombie: Don't get too down bro
Witty: favors literally just had the ball in his hand
Witty: from joe ingles
Witty: and it bounced away
Zombie: I think Donovan is the kind of player who can transform the fate of this team
str8line: All Don's shots are short tonight.
str8line: I agree Zombie.
Ron: Jazz on the road on back end of a back to back with both games on the road is a recipe for the game getting ugly for the jazz.
str8line: especially against GS
Zombie: Like, he is real ****ing good. It's going to take a few seasons but I have no doubt that Utah can build a roster around Donovan and Rudy that can cont
yamers: guys
Zombie: Contend^
yamers: it could be a lot worse
Saint: the Jazz have a guy averaging 148 points per 48 minutes on their bench
yamers: the lakers dont even own their pick
Saint: we can still win this
str8line: He's beyond really good.
Saint: just got to pull out the secret weapon
Saint: Naz Mitrou-Long
Jazzta: you need one more relevant piece
Archie: We need Bryce Cotyon.
yamers: positives: mitchel
yamers: we own our draft pick
Ron: The only disappointing part of this game is Mitchell looking worn out.
Jazzta: DM, Gobert and... <fill here>
Zombie: Donovan is going to recruit that third piece th
Zombie: tbh^
Archie: Hood should be a bigger cog to the Jazz's success than what is expected.
Ron: Exum
str8line: Mitchell needs to have bad games every once in a while. Make him a killer.
Jazzta: When is Exum coming back?
yamers: i tell u ever ****ing game jazzta
Ron: Probably next season
yamers: HES OUT FOR THE SEASON
yamers: get it through your thick iranian skull
Witty: at least one thing you can look forward to is when Gobert comes back, the team was already playing horrible
str8line: LOL Yamers.

Ricky's Driving Layup Bonanza in the 3rd was horrible. Mitchell has to be more selfish or we get things like that. I'm ready for some trades. I can't watch this Jazz team play like this for much longer.

So, the guy is responsible of 9 points (3 buckets and an assist), cut the deficit to 1 but it was "horrible" anyways? I reckon the guy hasn't played well for us, but this is just complaining for the heck of it.

It isn't the loosing that bothers me so much, it's the blowouts. This team has no will, except for what you see from Donovan.

If/when DM misses time due to injury or becomes less effective (as we’ve seen recently) due to teams scouting him better/rookie fatigue we are going to struggle to score 80 pts.

We shouldn’t have to rely on a rookie to score 30-40 pts a night for us to be competitive offensively.

Why is Burks still around? Rubio? Joe? Time to make trades and build a team that can actually score for next year.

Jazzta: Next season? What?
Zombie: I honestly don't see Exum as part if a "big 3"
Witty: is exum still a thing
?
Ron: I do
Jazzta: His durability is very concerning
Archie: Exum could be the wildcard.
str8line: I see him as part of a big 4.
Zombie: I'll be happy if he fills that x factor role
Jazzta: if he's gonna miss every other season..
Witty: i see him busting his soul in a preseason game
yamers: exum will never develope anymore
str8line: That speed from Donovan. Damn.
yamers: players who sit 2 seasons historically never recover
Archie: Dude, he's like Mitchell's age.
Jazzta: He needs to gain some muscle
Zombie: I don't know about that yam. I think he can still develop
Witty: maybe it will be cute and we see Dante in next year's summer league
str8line: Hood 4-92
yamers: oneal taking it
yamers: wut
Ron: Exums injuries don't really concern me. They aren't related and this second one is just a fluke accident that could happen to anyone.
Zombie: But let's be real about where he's at, he isn't really even a better than average player
Saint: Royce O'Neale is +8
Jazzta: Some were comparing Exum with Livingston
Ron: Exum was solid after recovering late last season
Witty: hood is a great shooter
str8line: Beautiful man just tweaked his ankle
Witty: oneal airmails it wide open
Witty: 2017-2018 utah jazz
yamers: lmao
yamers:
giphy.gif

Ron: The best part is that Snyder views exum as a potentially really good player. He talks very highly of him.

Witty: im sure quin spekas highly of all players

Zombie: For sure Exum is still improving but hes got a looooong way to go before I consider him a foundational player
str8line: Exum looked really good before going out. You have to base everything off that.
str8line: And he's young.
str8line: Mitchell needs to pad stats for ROY
Jazzta: The problem is he's lost 2 years of development just like that, don't get me wrong I'm still hopeful
Witty: hoods doing good this game
Hekate: yep that's enough
Jazzta: I was very excited about drafting him
Witty: yeah well theres something wrong in youir head
Ron: He hasn't lost development. He is still developing even while out. It would be better to play but his time isn't lost.
str8line: Donovan can't go a night without amazing.
Jazz4ever: DM with the stat pad.
Zombie: Like, I agree he looked solid last year and he can still improve, but I think really good player is Exums ceiling
Jazzta: I hope you're right
Witty: hood with the worst 20 points ever to be scored in the NBA
Ron: Jazz offense is just fine this game. It's the defense that sucked. That big run we gave a lot of open looks.
Saint: all we have left is stat padding for Don
str8line: Really good sounds good.
Archie: He's lost two years, yes, but it doesn't mean he hasn't and won't continue to develop. I hope he does. I won't hold my breath, but dude looked great
Witty: mcgee shooting threes against us, because, that's just what you do against the jazz
Zombie: Yeah really good is good. I just don't think he's going to be an all star level guy
Archie: The end of last year and summer league.
Jazz4ever: The Jazz offense is not fine. 35% through most of the game isnt going to win much
str8line: Rolls Royce!
str8line: Damn that was nasty
Archie: PGs take long to develop too.
Jazzta: Ugh not SWaggy P
Saint: I mean, they are 17th in offensive rating this year
Saint: it's largely fine
Saint: if the jazz defense was as good as we all thought
Zombie: It's largely meh
Saint: we would be sitting very pretty
Ron: Injuring his ACL made exum work harder on his body that he really needed.
str8line: Someone needs to tell Royce that only Donovan can wear yellow shoes.
Witty: harpring claiming the jazz having two days off means something towards wins
Witty: thats a farce
Archie: Jazz are *18th in offense this year aka historically bad.
str8line: Hood turning it on in garbage time
Ron: Jazz have the #1 defense on the NBA at home and the worst defense in the NBA on the road. It's a huge huge swing.
Witty: yeah hood is consistent

Jazz4ever: The offense is trending down, we were just 12th a month ago.
str8line: Ingles isn't right at the moment.
Archie: Exum was injured because some dumbass jumped on him.
Saint: yeah and it will trend back up when they play easier teams
Witty: hood, againt, with the most useless 26 point game in history
Jazzta: The calendar has sucked, thanks NBA. It's got to be demoralizing to the players.
str8line: Yup Witty.
Saint: Jazz have had the 4th toughest schedule according to SOS
Ron: Our defense being elite is based on Gobert.
str8line: He sucked when it counted.
vegas: Yeah I've noticed Ingles not himself.
str8line: Durant giving Donovan props.
Zombie: I do actually like Utah's chances of being at or over .500 by the end of the year
Witty: ingles seems like hes more interested in fronting and talking the good ****
Jazzta: Well, predictable loss
Ron: I wish jazz would quit avoiding Sundays so our schedule wouldn't suck so bad. We shoot ourselves in the foot.
Archie: Don't the Jazz have the most back to backs this year too?
Jazzta: it has to get better from here
Archie: I feel I remember hearing that.
Witty: but sundays are important
str8line: All the superstars want to be a part of his greatness.
Jazzta: Why are Sundays avoided?
Zombie: Marmans
Witty: -10% of our win percentage usage 82 appearances
Archie: The demographic
Jazzta: Lol for real?
Witty: you didnt know that?
Ron: Jazz are still positive in the point differential which is a better predictor of future record than We/Ls despite this very hard schedule.
Witty: oh i dont think you were ever a real fan?
Jazzta: Nope, I honestly didn't
Ron: Unless injuries keep killing us we will make the playoffs.
Jazzta: it's hilarious though
Zombie: When a big percentage of your fanbase considers it sinful to do things like go to a game on Sunday it makes it a lil tricky
Witty: At this point, in Utah, I think the Jazz has a well enough turnout on a Sunday
Zombie: I actually agree witty. I see it as more a gesture than anything at this point
Witty: My last two years of going to Jazz games actually resulted in going to games where I'm sitting arounhd families of 6 people not doing anything but
Witty: sitting there

So, the guy is responsible of 9 points (3 buckets and an assist), cut the deficit to 1 but it was "horrible" anyways? I reckon the guy hasn't played well for us, but this is just complaining for the heck of it.
The guy responsible for not playing great at all... is himself.

I blame Hayward and DL for dragging in Ricky. We shouldn't have to rely on him for buckets.

The couple behind Boler and Harpring is reminding me that warriors fans ate almost as annoying as Lakers fans
