As I’ve said for a while, Mudiay should be getting Niang’s minutes. He’s a better rebounder anyway.
Niang spreads the floor. If Bradley or Morgan are in the game they clog the paint making it harder for Clarkson/Mudiay to get downhill.
That's why I say Clarkson/Mudiay/Oneale/Niang + one wing/guard. Because it's the best bench lineup for pace and space. Clarkson and Mudiay can go downhill every possession. And if help comes it's an easy kick out for an open 3 from a great shooter.
We may give up buckets but we're getting them too. We just need the bench to keep things on an even keel.
