Oklahoma City — Jazz center Al Jefferson dislocated his right pinkie finger Sunday during a road game against Houston while grabbing a rebound.

He played through the injury Monday at Memphis, and his right hand was heavily iced today after a morning shootaround at Oklahoma City Arena. Jefferson does not expect to miss any action, though, and will take the court tonight against the Thunder.

"You got to play through it," Jefferson said.

Say what you want about him being a great player only on a bad team, he's got heart. The same injury would have sidelined Boozer for 8 weeks.

I agree, Big Hefe has heart. It's good to see him fighting so hard to win and gain what he thought he was coming into: a winning tradition and an annual trip to the playoffs.

fact - albert is the only player on the jazz to play in every game thus far.

He also dislocated the pinkie on his other hand earlier in the season...we never heard about that either. Good stuff.

You are really giving Boozer some credit. I estimate it would have taken him out of the game until he was waterskiing in cancun over the summer.
