Jody G is a fool

I listened to the Hayward interview today where he used the word bully. Jody G takes it out of context to create some BS narrative he wants https://www.deseretnews.com/article...y-with-an-edge-this-season-for-Utah-Jazz.html

The headline got me excited because Hayward needs to play nastier, but it was just a ******** story he created by taking a quote completely out of context/tone it was said in. He added in the cute video game spat with his wife too that the Jazz media can't seem to get enough of, though, so it's all good. If Hayward reads the newspapers maybe this will piss him off and it will translate on the court

I'm not a fan of him either.

Me neither, I'm not a fan of his brand of humour... it's not Bill Oram bad, but it's pretty bad.

I probably like Brian T. Smith the most out of all the reporters because of his professionalism, but yeah he's long gone.

I like Jody and his brand of humor. If he were the only beat writer in town he wouldn't fit well, but with three papers, 6 or more writers, 3 sports radio stations 4 news stations and at least two web pages and 3 podcasts there are plenty of other options. I actually like that unlike so many others covering the jazz he doesn't take himself seriously. And his unique way of capturing the Jazz experience adds depth, perspective and color to my jazz experience.

What's interesting is that Jody was actually a really professional and strong reporter before he got buddy-buddy with Bill Oram, who - as far as I'm concerned - is the equivalent of the Ebola virus to sports journalism. You don't want it anywhere near you, but that idiotic drivel is going to spread regardless. So glad that asshat is gone.

Jody seems like a hard worker though, which is my same opinion of David Locke - I may disagree and find their tone irritated, but I'm thankful for their passion for the Jazz and the amount of content the put out.

Monson on the other hand is a complete moron.

You've got this spot on.

Rep'd.

God, y'all bitch way too much about local sports writers. I think Jody does a good job and is a funny dude.

I dunno about you but if I want my comedy fix I watch something funny on tv.

What I want from my sport writer is professional reporting, not someone who uses his position to act like an *** on twitter.

You sound like a baby back bitch.

Yeah, I think he does a good job on twitter.

Well if you have Brian T. Smith with professional no non-sense reporting at one end, and Oram at the other end of the spectrum, I guess Jody is somewhere in between.

Out of every 10 tweets, I would find 3-4 to be solid informational tweets.

Jody is absolutely fine.

Brian T. Smith was a complete square, and a total asshat. I celebrated when he left.

Yeah, Brian Smith was teh guy who threw a bitch fit when Locke didn't fact check a really minor thing, right?

Dunno about you guys but I don't find this kind of humour particularly funny... but yeah it's probably just me.

If the Jazz do a Royals-like rebuild, Utah will be back in the playoffs in 2041.
