ESPN says it, so it must be true.
My question is, with Bell out and Howard out for the rest of the season, who gets the start @ SG/SF? Will it be Burks/Miles, Burks/Hayward, or Miles/Hayward? My vote goes to Burks/Hayward but I know that's not going to happen.
I'll admit I was a bit hesitant. And the same with Tinsley. Both have been model citizens. I wish Howard nothing but the best (well, as long as he doesn't end up in LA or Miami, that is).
absolutely. josh howard has been playing some nice ball for us this year.
people cheering about his injury is just disgusting.
yes we get it... you happen to like young player X, Y or Z.
but being thankful for an injury or wishing it on someone else (raja, cj) is as low as it gets.
you guys are jazz fans?
tough break for josh.
hopefully he bounces back strongly.
he has shown enough this year to pick up another contract in the league next year, though i don't think it will be with utah.
good luck to him.
Lets sign Junior Sapp from the DLeague. He's a SF like David Lee is a C. Jeremy Evans cannot guard SFs that challenge his lateral footspeed and strength (his high center of gravity takes away from both, despite his being a beanpole), and he cannot guard a >230 pound chair regardless of position.
My point is he's just not a very good player.
Ask yourself, if he's mostly been played at SF this reason, why is it he couldn't get on the court? SF is one of the bigger weaknesses on this team and he couldn't get on the court. He's also gotten most of his minutes in pure garbage time (where he ALWAYS has Kanter and Favors out there, where Hayward has been starting most of the year and not relegated to garbage time (there being no SF for garbage time situations), Burks, and one of our elder statesmen. He wanted to play Evans, so he played him at the only position that he'll ever have a chance to become a rotation player on a good team but the guy just doesn't play that position (yet?). In the games where Al or Sap can't play, Evans plays as a four in meaningful games.
But sure. Jeremy Evans. Maybe Jeremy Evans.
