SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz forward Joe Ingles had a big third quarter in their road contest against the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night.

Joe Ingles scored 13 points in the third quarter and knocked down three three-pointers on four attempts to help the Jazz dominate the Lakers. Five other Jazz players combined for 20 points in the quarter as they outscored the Lakers 33-23 and had an 85-65 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

The Aussie was quiet offensively in the first two quarters, scoring three points in the first and two points in the second quarter. He had 18 points going into the fourth quarter.

In their overtime loss to the Lakers on Saturday afternoon, Ingles had 20 points and tied his career-high of 14 assists. Rudy Gobert, Mike Conley, Donovan Mitchell and Derrick Favors did not play in Saturday’s game.

Ersan Ilyasova and Donovan Mitchell were not available for the Jazz on Monday night for the rematch.

The Jazz will wrap up a three-game road trip against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, April 21 at 6 p.m. MDT. Then they will have one quick game at home before going on the road for three straight.
