Mos Def came to Edmonton last night. The concert was nothing short of amazing. Mos Def is an amazing performer, personable, and has unprecedented amounts of the difficult-to-describe 'swag' that young people seem to obsess about these days. He did a lot of rapping, but the performance in this video (which was the encore, after he unplugged his mic) was probably the performance the stood out. I also took a bunch of other videos, including one of me trying to get on stage and him laughing. All in all, a great night, and one of the best concerts I have ever been to.
As far as the video is concerned, this ****ing goon's arm was in the way for much of it. Screaming is prevalent as well, unfortunately. The format of the video is the way it is, because of the fact that I captured it with my iPhone.

I can agree with this. The majority of FFDP is pretty terrible but then they put out songs like this and "Far From Home" and it gives me hope.

I'd never heard of this band so i clicked the play button. I was previously listening to The Devil Wears Prada in a different window. TDWP song "escape" started at the same time as "we've got a score to settle" by the Dear Hunter. The dear hunter song says it's a live recording and the start of the TDWP song starts off by talking about how the video is a secret recording so I listened to it for a good 1-2 minutes before I noticed was the hell was going on. It was kinda cool to hear the screaming from TDWP and the sing of Dear Hunter overlapping each other.
The Dear Hunter guy's voice reminds me of the singer from Mars Volta and another singer from "Comes From The Fall" ( now the lead singer of Alice in Chains)
