Not surprised at all. He wants a ring, lets just see how well he fits in the system.

The Spurs are doing what we use to call "STACKING a deck!" That refers to when you were going down to the playground, gym, basketball court of your choice, not just to play basketball and get some exercise ("run around like a chicken with your head cut off") but to DOMINATE and stay on the court all night long! While other guys were content to just show up and play with who ever else showed up, guys that wanted to actually win, would bring at least 2 other guys, sometimes 3 guys that they knew would play the same style and had basketball skills to go along with a basketball IQ higher than 8 with 10 being the highest! We would go up against guys with a lot of AA (athletic ability) but not one basketball brain cell between them! They all wanted to be "Dr. J" and thus refused to pass the ball, box out, play much defense and would be sitting on the sidelines faster than they could spin their heads! We would win 9 out of 10 games in that Dr. J era! Now, if we would have played in the Allan Iverson era....it would have been 10 out of 10!

Not a damn thing. I'm not sure how that post ended up in this thread. I recall writing it in reply to a post about the Kings signing Rondo... but I have no idea where that post is.
