I'd hold off on saying whoever gets Melo makes them worse. The guy is super talented and if he buys in could still be a very good player ala Joe Johnson on Utah. If he plays with CP3 or Lebron, I could see either of those two being able to get through to him.

I find it somewhat ironic that Carmelo is going to play for D'Antoni now after essentially being responsible for getting him canned in New York because he didn't want to run his off offense.

In the end it worked out better for D'Antoni so no reason to hold a grudge I guess.
