Give them Evans and a 2nd or a 2nd and $3mm. I'd say CJ instead of Evans but this looks like salary dump to me. Why would they care about LA's late first when they have so damn much youth as it is?

On second thought, Minny probably offered him to LA for nothing to bait Jazz into taking it. Jazz with Beasley would add a few wins, increasing the chances Minny gets that pick.

I don't think Minny really wants another pick, they were shopping the 2nd last year pretty hard. Plus Kahn isn't smart enough to devise such a plan anyway.

Howard's "personality issues" never interfered with his on-court or his team's on-court performance. Tinsley's may have, but he was brought on as a 3rd stringer, and expected to be a 3rd stringer.

Beasley is a different animal. His off-court issues don't concern me, but he just doesn't seem to be concerned with winning, just stats.
