Mike James wants to play for the Utah Jazz. Told me so at golf outing (Bethpage Red Course) for his charity foundation.

Uhm, great, except according to his own website, his career finished in 2007 even though he spent the last two years with the Wizards, at least until they bought him out last season after barely playing him. I know we are desperate for a backup PG, but wouldn't he be more welcome playing for Cleveland and wearing #23?

The same criteria remains:
Can he defend and run an offense better than Gaines or Price?
Will he do it for the veterans' minimum and less than 10 MPG?

If so, bring him on.

I agree 100%. Lets move past the Derek Harper and Rony Seikaly days of "you go play in utah"

Dwill influences alot of this. He is a super star that has cred and make players better. Utah as a place to live still has a negative stigma about it for typical NBA players.
