I don't see how it's discrimination advocating what you teach and believe. If anything, it would be highly hypocritical if they did.

I don't say this to be extreme but the Klan probably thinks the same way. It's discrimination any way you look at it.

I wrote a paper on this last semester, I think gay marriage is about equality and not religion. Any church can choose to perform the ceromonies or not to that's their choice, but that shouldn't stop gay couples from being able to marry. Just like aethiests can find ways to get married without churches so can same-sex couples. That being said a lot of churches seem to be changing their stances as far as gay marriage is concerned.

So you admit that the government has never forced the church to do anything against its marriage standards? So what exactly are you arguing about? Why the cause for concern?

I for one am one fed up Mormon who's tired of this Chicken Little attitude I've seen from fellow Mormons in the past few years. Whether we are talking about taxes, debt, health care, marriage, guns, etc it's as if the world is coming to an end!

To me, the wealth inequality, unrelenting partisanship, unsustainable defense spending, and our idolatry of "job creators" is a far greater threat than a small minority (gays) being able to be married.the Koch Bros are a bigger threat to America than all the gays combined.
