Pelicans? I think its just an excuse for satisfying female NBA fans fashion interests with selling some pink stuffs.(jersey etc.) It's a good selling strategy actually if it become real. Its laughable, but i think it would be a success financially.

Personally having been a Jazz fan my whole life and being my favorite sports franchise I still feel no attachment and do not really like the name Jazz but I dont really care that much about the team name as long as our Jerseys are cool.

i love the jazz for utah because it doesn't work oddly enough. and remember the jazz have some of the top jersey's from any sports team out there, so it would be stupid to trade there name away.

Right, we all know it's silly to have a team in Utah called the Jazz, but so what? There are no lakes or trolleys to dodge in L.A., but nobody complains about the Dodgers' and Lakers' names. Team names aside, the Jazz's current set is a beauty, and it's so much better than all of the purple and teal nonsense they'd been using previously.
