NBA Team Valuations

I only looked at a few teams revenue per fan. The Jazz sure know how to ream their fans. I use to be a season ticket holder and have been twice this year, the concessions prices are ridiculous! The Jazz need to take a page out of the Atlanta Falcons playbook. I won’t be going back anytime soon.

Scroll down to the section regarding revenue per fan. This is before the massive ticket increase for next year goes into effect. Seems like they should be able to afford a little luxury tax to give us a winning product.

A lot of that value attributed to the Jazz is the fact that they own their own arena, and receive all the income for arena events. Also, it is a backhanded way of saying very few people care about the Utah Jazz. . .

Don’t be a crybaby. It was your choice to only go to two games so live with it. I understand not wanting to be a season ticket holder because you decided you couldn’t afford it or whatever, then turn around and only go to two games after being a season ticket holder. Unless you lost your job or hours or whatever, you going to only two games is your fault.

If you chose not to re-up as a season ticket holder because of $ and still went to 10-15 games, I’d understand you complaining about price.

Wait, I’m only allowed to complain about the value proposition if I attend at least 10 games?

Noted.

My family has season tickets center court 4th row. When I lived in Utah I'd go to games all the time. I still fly in for a few games a year (only one this year), and also try to fly to at least one new arena every year to see a game. I remember my first game in the Delta Center at center court. Seeing Stockton and Malone that close up was awesome. Especially compared to the 20" low res tv I was used to at the time. I loved going to games.

In all honestly, as much as I like live games, and will continue to go to games, with the advent of big screens, HDTV, and comfortable seating, I tend to prefer watching in my home theater anyway. Our increase in pricing for our season tickets next year was very small. Sounds like the upper bowl is what got hit. I would definitely rather watch from home than the upper bowl.
