So millions were spent on the half time show yet most of us can’t understand a word the singer was singing.

Anyone else found that to be extremely annoying?
 
That was a pretty crappy football game.

I thought it was fine. If it was an important speech in another language that I was excited to see then it would be annoying that I couldn't understand it. But it was music. There is more to music than lyrics for me. Plus its a superbowl. I think most people, like myself, are with friends/family and not paying extremely close attention to the television but instead are talking, grabbing some food, using the restroom etc.
I thought the performance was pretty good (despite me not knowing the language) and what I did watch of the performance was pretty fun. Good vibe. Put on a nice show. Liked the message about love being more powerful than hate.

Yeah but I mean, would it hurt him to sing it in English at least?

Or at least put in ONE English song????

Is that too much to ask????

I still don’t get how he can become so popular when NOBODY COULD UNDERSTAND HIMMMM!

I agree, you dont get it.

I just dont get too upset about a 15 minute halftime show during a 5 hour event. Seems silly to care much about it. Kind of like getting upset if Taylor Swift is on the screen for 27 seconds during a 3 hour football game.
Just not that big a deal to me.
 
I don't believe Mr. Bunny has any songs in English, if they wanted English songs probably should've hired someone else.

Anywho, something like ~15% of the country can speak Spanish, having one halftime show in the language doesn't seem like much of a stretch. Particularly for California (closer to 30% there).

I'm all for roughly proportional representation in most areas in life.
 
Yeah I just wished I could have understood even 10% of it.

Just wasn’t a fan of turning a lot of people off with so much language barrier.

At least have Bad Bunny TALK to US in English for a little bit.. lol
