Butler's gotten next to nothing and the one game he had decent minutes he had good stats. I think he's totaled 39 minutes on the season. He was the talk of preseason in the NBA then Quin chopped his nuts off.
Ya i have talked a much crap about butlers poor play as anyone but ya gotta go with butler over forest. I mean either players 8 minutes or whatever per game in the regular season isn't going to make much of a difference. Bulter is the guy who might make a big difference in the future though so go with him.

- We probably should have seen more garbage time this game. We would get a lead and then relax on defense a little. Credit to Atlanta for hitting shots. When a team can establish big leads and get in to garbage minutes it can be really beneficial for reducing minutes, avoiding injuries, and getting some reps for young players.
- Joe needs rest days. I think Joe is probably being the stubborn one here.
- Paschall played great, and I really like him, but I did notice that he is affecting our spacing. It was probably more exaggerated after playing a team twice in a short period. Same goes for Forrest. Once you've played against him once, it's so easy to react to his game. This probably makes them unplayable in a playoff series.
-Donovan's on ball defense has improved a lot. His off ball defense is still really bad.

Butler has far more potential to pull a Terrance Mann performance in a game or 3 than Forest does. I would rather see him get some burn in real NBA games. But I hope they get him to practice what they need him to do in the G league so he develops the right skills. I don't want to see him just be a chucker and ball-stopper in the G league then come back here expecting to do the same.

In past years it has been:
Name a more iconic Jazz duo, Ingles passing up a wide open 3 or Clarkson forcing a contested 3

To this year
Ingles passing up a wide open 3 FOR A TURNOVER or Clarkson bricking a 3.

For me I get reasoning behind playing Forrest but with Gay being out it is hard to play Forrest with Paschall and Rudy or Whiteside just not enough spacing. On top of that with Ingles playing so passive with his shot and his play making (so far) looks like he's washed and Clarkson struggling with his shot, I think Butler makes more sense offensively with the lineup that Forrest has been playing with. Now if you sub Gay in for Paschall then yeah Forrest I think can fit that lineup better.
