Ehh. I’m not so sure about this. Kerr has a pretty abysmal track record of developing players. I am not gung-ho on Kuminga, but I also think we don’t really know what’s going there and him being here would be a very different situation.

He is a young guy. He would be part of the youth that the team is riddled with.
If he hurts the pick then that might mean we already got our guy.
Not much of a red flag that a super young guy who needs to develop didn't get minutes on a vet team trying to win.
I doubt any of our young guys would get minutes on Golden state last year either.
 
Don't think we have the right stuff for Kuminga. They'll want a vet who can help them win (who also needs to be paid less than JK). I'm ok taking a flier on him, but it would have to be some kind of 3 teamer where we trade a bad pick or something.

I don't think JK will work out, but I think there's a slight chance he's been held back and is actually as good as he thinks he is. His development has basically stalled after some highs and lows since his rookie year. Worth a late first maybe....idk.

Didn't seem like we had any interest in him, so I doubt it happens, but he would be a guy DA likes.

If Hardy is The Guy as a coach and can teach him the things that CAN be taught then watch out.

For a reasonable price Kumiga is a worthwhile risk. The only problem is that he is mostly a 4. We have a lot of 4’s. So if we could move other guys for guards and have Bailey and Kumiga maybe you have something.
