Never said it would be easy. It will take years, possbily decades, but it is possible to weed out alot of the problems, or at least drastically reduce them, thru education.
It's funny to me that this could gain any traction at all. How can you just cherry-pick one beverage that is unhealthy. If they had proposed a ban on 250 calorie caffe lattes from Starbucks there would be anarchy in NY.

Member Bruce Vladeck proposed limiting movie-theater popcorn containers.
"The popcorn isn't a whole lot better than the soda," he said.
Another member suggested limits for milkshakes and "milk-coffee beverages."
They need to start mandating exercise and throw people in jail who can't do at least 25 push-ups, or run a mile in less than 15min.
