Obama Might Lose This

The fact that no GOP candidate seems viable or likely to win to me tells me that I need to work harder on my sense of perspective. I just don't get it. The GOP sucks so bad that it strains my brain to fathom that it exists.

Dems don't have all the right answers. And Dems say some things that are dumb. But, serious you can't tell me that GOP could give a dam about the middle class, working poor, unemployed, women's rights, civil rights (ya that includes gay people), and the list goes on. They are pushing ideas that promote hate and inequality. Mean while the whole time they come out and tell you to your face they are for the rich and big business. I would love to see anyone on this site that is making $200,000 + tell me that they are struggling the same as the everyday America.
 
Then on top of all that they flaunt religion like it is a flag that they need to raise. Using Jesus as a way to promote capitalism and inequality. When the very things he stood for would stand in complete opposition to all of the platforms GOPer push.

Can you with a stright face tell me that the left believes in my freedom to do as I wish? In working poor, gun rights, religious freedom, the middle class, rule of law, the chance to succees, racial equality, tolerance...

See how easy that is.

Do I think the GOP establishment has my best interests at heart? Only as far as I can throw them. Coincidently that lands them right next to the establishment Dems.

Just as much as the left flaunts big brother, all encompasing government as the answer to everything. Using government as the way to create the entitlement class and a dependency on the governemnt for everything.

But, what is wrong with helping? If someone is struggling what would a "Christian nation" preach? Darwinism? Because it seem they push Darwinism until it comes to bailing out Wall St. and the to big to fail businesses.
Are there those that take advantage of Big brother? Sure but we need to quit acting like the corporate world doesn't somehow contribute to that mentality. There are those that give years to companies for them to cut them off to apease some share holder who could give a %#$$ about the company. Then they are laid off. The corporate world is eroding the rights of working class Americans and we sit around and do nothing.
