I just re-listened and according to Locke in the 576 minutes this year that the Jazz used a stretch 4 in the lineup with Gobert the defensive rating was 97 and the minutes played with Favors and Gobert on the floor together the defensive rating was 98.
k. I like him, but you know someone is going to offer him something dumb. y
Favor's isn't signing a one year deal with Utah - it's probably literally his last resort if he faces a bone dry market.
He just went through a contract year where he played healthy virtually wire to wire and showed good life/production in the playoffs - he's not going to want to do that again. Hell, I'm not even sure he CAN do that again.
You would only be able to have one.IF.... IF we manage to get Paul George, why the hell would we want to match an offer for Favors? I am a huge fan of letting him walk. I like him, but you know someone is going to offer him something dumb. Just let him go, its okay
I know Favors hasn't had the best of health and he's been on the Jazz forever. But dude's 26, not 36.

It would be in his best interest most likely. Jazz can pay him more for a 1 year deal than anyone else will. Unless he gets a really good offer it's more likely he can get a bigger contract in a future year.Favor's isn't signing a one year deal with Utah - it's probably literally his last resort if he faces a bone dry market.
