He made some very poor decisions down the stretch. His players should have performed better, but he didn't help matters at all. I give Clifford credit for getting the most out of his players on a night to night basis. You cannot say the same for Quin Snyder.
How can you not say the same for Quin at least this year? George Hill was supposed to be a "mediocre" starting PG at best, JJ was supposed to be a corpse, Hayward injured, Favors gimpy, and now Hill injured. Yet we're 5-4 with a tough schedule.
Not saying Quin has been perfect, but he's been quite good this year so far.

Most people did not think Hill was going to be mediocre lmao.
is way too reliant on some players versus others.
we haven't made any adjustments.
I read back through the thread on when we got him and it was mixed feelings around here and it seems like around the rest of the NBA they thought it was a nice move, but nothing earth shattering. Just about everyone thought Teague would certainly make a bigger impact for Indy.
Poor Neto that became the 4th point guard. Mack isn't better than him.
I'm not going to judge a coached based on garbage narratives. That line of thinking has never resonated with me. His in game management is not good, especially his rotations. He consistently puts out lineups that have no chance of succeeding and is way too reliant on some players versus others. This team is very disappointing on defense thus far, and the root of that cause is our inability to guard the high pick and roll. The opposing teams know our coverage and are getting great looks, but we haven't made any adjustments.
Neto is ****ing awful.
This is definitely the road game we were probably most likely to drop, especially without Hill. Just sucks tho, I wanted that 5 game win streak.
We played really well and just lost steam in the 4th. We missed tons of three's. Their crowd got into it. A slightly better shooting % from three and this game would have been a barn-burner. They are a damn good team and this loss wasn't that bad. With Hill it would have probably been a win.
We stopped Kemba most of the gameHayward played like a mensch, Dante showed the most aggression he ever has, Hood looks like a seasoned veteran, Rudy was awesome for the first half and Favors was nailing his shots. Both teams shot 46.3% FG, we out rebounded them and we were close in 3 pt.%(8 threes each). We just couldn't stop Kemba, JJ didn't play well, and Rudy only played 30 min. All in all a damn good game, we just lost.
