I would be shocked if Gobert played next game.
Maybe they just have him come off teh bench?
But yeah, they wouldnt do it for next season. I'm not sure how they handle it.
I'm more interested in McDaniels' status, tbh.
If the Wolves win their play in games, drafting 16th isnt the end of hte world.
There's a chance that both the Pels and Twolves miss the POs, and a coin toss would decide who drafts 13 and who drafts 14. So technically, the Jazz's pick could be #13, though it's unlikely.

LAL is much more difficult opponent for Wolves than Pels. They want to play Grizzlies than Nuggets so we have a chance for 14th or 15th spot. Need Rudy and Mcdaniels out.
If Miami lost both play-in games and OKC made the playoffs then there would be a tie for pick 12 between MIN/NOP. Extremely unlikely though.
Minnesota needs to sit down with Gobert and Kyle Anderson and see what the beef is. Then decide if they can play with each other. Or, just suspend Gobert for throwing a punch.

Between the scuffle and McDaniels breaking his hand. . . I’m really hoping they implode in the playin games, and go into the offseason with a dark cloud over the franchise.
