It's Paul Pierce that should be credited with Porter's improvement.

It’s taken time to get Porter to this point. Pierce has been on the soft-spoken forward in an effort to tap into his potential.

“Paul is always talking to this kid,” Wittman said.

But when Pierce isn’t in his ear, Porter is watching the vet from afar, mentally cataloging how Pierce prepares, practices and carries himself during games.

So even when Pierce isn’t hitting a ton of daggers like in Game 2, his impact can be felt in the play of Porter.

“He’s unbelievable as far as mentoring,” Porter said. “[He] really doesn’t have to say much. It’s just what he does.

“And for me, a young guy, I am willing to see that and I am going to soak as much up as I can by just watching him, how he comes in and prepares, how focused he is, his routines, things like that.”

If Raptors would have a normal coach nobody would be talking about Porter. That imbecil is the worst coach ever, tried to play 4 guards and James Johnson at center for one stretch. ****ing idiot, no game plan, no defense, just primitive iso ball for two games in a row. That Raptors won 49 games despite that idiot at charge is a miracle.

Well also realize that people on here have been using Porter to some how discredit stuff I say about draft prospects all the time, so I kind of have a right to do this. He hasn't been getting minutes for whatever reason and when he finally gets consistent minutes, his team has been playing exponentially better.
