Pacquiao vs. Mayweather

The press for some reason needs to make this a good guy v. bad guy thing but the fact is more like bad guy vs. bad guy - Pacquiao's a degenerate gambler (rumor is he's broke), openly cheats on his wife and uses his platform in the Filipino House of Representatives to spew anti-gay hate speech.

As far as juicing is concerned he's never failed a test but neither has Barry Bonds. All I can say is he started out fighting at 110 pounds and now he fights (on fight night) somewhere in the neighborhood of 160 pounds. How does an adult male start at 110, put on 50 pounds and still maintain world class conditioning? Not saying it's impossible but at some point common sense has to take over.

As far is the fight is concerned Manny doesn't stand a chance. I've watched Floyd's last 7 or 8 fights (at least) and he's dominated every one - the SD to De La Hoya and his two recent MD's were all jokes - he's clearly won every fight. Yes it would have been a better fight 5 years ago but Floyd would have beaten him then too.

soo he is not allowed to have his pro family sanctity of mariage view??

**** YOU THEN

Being anti-gay is in no way pro anything. It's just hating and hurting others because they don't conform to your views. No one gains anything by denying gay people their rights to live their lives as they see fit.

it is pro family (values) and pro procreation

While I do think Floyd may have dodged Manny, I also see his point about the drug testing and believe he was spot on in his accusations of Pacquiao's use.

Now with drug testing in place, let's see who's the better boxer.

My gut tells me it's going to be a shady split decision with Manny winning. Boxing is shady as hell and this would be the perfect way to piss Floyd off enough to get a rematch and another HUGE payday for everyone involved.
Manny agreed to be tested years ago

Were they fighting some common opponents? Same era, and weight class?
Both fought De la Hoya. Floyd barely won and many feel the judges robbed De la Hoya of the win. Manny destroyed De la Hoya. However at that point De la Hoya was over the hill

LOL. Really? Floyd had a point. Like Bonds, like Palmeiro, like others who used PED's, Manny became much, much better in his 30's. That doesn't just happen with hard work.
Manny is taking a test the night before the fight. If he's dirty the fight is off. There's no excuse for Floyd ducking Manny, and I'm a Floyd fan.

I know the new narrative of the faux liberals ss that you not only have to accept something, but you have to actively EMBRACE and SUPPORT it - or you are a bad "Anti" person - is the stylish thing today, but really all it makes you is self-righteous.

meaning anti gay isnt always anti gay.

as in we live in polarizing times. either your for it or against it.
what about inbetween, like repsect the concept of mariage as a religious thing. and let the gays gay out everysingle time.

now i dont know manny's personal feeling towards gays. but 99 out of a 100% the "anti-gay" vrowd is anti gay.
but pro "sanctity of mariage" or "pro social values" opr whatever

only a sith deals in absolutes.
and being a sith is not cool dude.

You're not an in between. You're anti rights for the people who identify as homosexual.

OMG, I'm a sith?

Those Sith lords tricked me I tell you!

Now back to Earth...

Pretty decent fight between Klitschko and Jennings tonight.

Anyone want to go in on PPV for the Mayweather Pacquiao fight?

ok, exactly what i mean faux liberal. bullying something into your point of view. because you polarize everything.
bullying by labeling as "anti"

there are is an inbetween

I wonder if it'll be one of the most watched boxing matches of all time? I'll def be watching with a group of people. I know some non-boxing fans here at work who will be watching as well.

Probably. I don't even know how they gauge that though. Like you said, groups of people. I know people that are having gatherings in warehouses - they might have 200 people watching there on one pay per pay view purchase. They kind of do that for a lot of UFC fights too, but they'll have like 10 people show up when there is no mainstream hype for a particular match. But no doubt on this one that that place will be walled.

Mayweather is a boring boxer. I guess if you are knowledgeable about boxing he might be fun to watch, but not for novice fans.

Unless Pacman KO's him in the final round, this fight is done. I think Pac won like 3 rounds max.

WTF Pac, at least try to win. Go all in and KO him or make him KO you. So ****ing boring.
